Why be taught Yoga, Meditation and Mindfulness by a person and not a screen?
Although technology can be a fantastic learning tool it cannot compete with the learning experience of being taught by a dynamic and qualified teacher. A teacher can gauge the mood of a group or class, be aware of situations which have arisen and understand the differing needs of pupils and differentiate a lesson accordingly. Also, the process of watching a screen is drawing children’s attention away from the experience of being aware of their body and emotions which is a key component to Yoga and Mindfulness’s success. A Yoga and Mindfulness teacher can also create and deliver games and concepts to help all students access Yoga and Mindfulness’ valuable qualities, which a screen cannot provide.
